It took us a few days (my guess would be that lighting issues delayed the release of the show photographs), but we rustled up a few pictures of the handbags from Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 for your viewing pleasure. And a pleasure they are – those who prefer seriousness to fun in their accessories need not apply. These bags only make up part of what is always an enormous accessories collection, but it seems as though Jacobs is right on board with the multicolor trend that has emerged quickly in Europe, as well as the continuing trend for smaller, more streamlined and structured bags. This is perhaps the most wearable collection of runway bags Jacobs has presented in a few seasons, and they’ll almost certainly do well at retail. Hermes Replica It seems as though our readers’ interest in and opinions of Louis Vuitton handbags are nearly unending, so when I saw a pictures of a select few of the brand’s Fall 2010 handbags, I couldn’t wait to share my favorite with you: the Louis Vuitton Cuir Grainé Doctor’s Bag. It was clear as soon as the brand’s Fall/Winter 2010 show hit the runway that the collection’s tone was to be much more subdued and mature than the neon foxtail charms and graffiti-layered monogram that has characterized the Vuitton aesthetic as of late, but seeing one of the show’s key bags in such stark relief hammers the point home. These are not your grandmother’s Louis Vuitton bags, but the two eras might have a few things in common.

Over dinner a couple of weekends ago, a friend asked me if it ever felt silly to write about fashion in the wake of human and environmental disasters like the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. And, truth be told, it can feel a little bit silly at times, just as I imagine most people who work in non-public service jobs feel when confronted with such a devastating world event. Things like fashion churn on nonetheless, and sometimes (although probably not as often as we could), we even find a way to help the planet at large. Net-a-Porter recently teamed up with Vogue and a slew of amazing designers to coordinate the Runway to Green project, which included a charity auction and fashion show on March 29 and also features a limited edition run of Fall 2011 pieces available on Net-a-Porter.com for a limited time, all of which benefit a number of environmental charities. Our favorite pieces? The Prada Textured Leather Tote and Prada Mary Jane Boots, of course. Replica Gucci Another pearl that we stumbled upon in the Bal Harbour Gucci store was the Gucci Medium Hobo that had just been released to the public eye and isn’t even available on their official site yet. The shape accords the pictured fuchsia ostrich hobo, the material was different. Its leather was entirely covered with their new horsebit emboss and came in either a darker brown shade or more of a burgundy red. Completed was the gorgeous $1080 hobo with single strap, zip-top closure, bamboo ring details, bamboo ornament zipper pull, embossed Gucci script logo on strap, studs, and an inside zip pocket. Megs fell in love immediately, but had to pull out of a possible impulse buy once reality settled back in. We will try to hunt down a picture of the gorgeous leather and report on it later. In the meanwhile, I would really recommend the pictured Gucci Ostrich Hobo. The bag is currently on sale from almost $4k down to $2,300 and available directly through Gucci. I got a little touchy with the bag and was positively surprised about the supple and soft appeal of the quality ostrich leather.

When I first saw the fringed bags in

It’s funny how six months to get used to the idea of a handbag changes things. When I first saw the fringed bags in the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 runway show, I was a little unsure. Given more time acquaint myself with the design, however, I sort of love the bags. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve merely become resigned to their existence or because I have actual affection for them, but I’m going to go with the latter. The most prototypical example of this collection is the Marc Jacobs Boho Woven Hobo, and I think it’s also the strongest. I think I may have been correct when I predicted in my initial review of the bags that the fringe would be somewhat shortened for retail, and that allows the bag’s illusion of basketry to take center stage without the hanging leather creating too much of a distraction. luoecon.blogs-entreprises.com Let’s talk some Burberry today. For a light start, we got the Burberry Luggage Tags for $130.00. A ridiculous amount of money, considering you can get generic tags for a buck fiddy or the free paper ones at the airline ticket counter. Still, if you don’t know what to do with your money, and you already spend several G’s on a full Louis luggage set, you might as well spend another half a grand on these tags to round off the luxurious bunch. They come in sets of two, in either Jacquard Canvas or Metallic Leather and can be ordered right here. If you ladies want to treat your man with something that’ll make him stand out at the weekly golf outing with his buddies at the range, get him this Burberry Bag set. For just under $500, you get a carry-all bag for all of his misc golf equipment, along with a useful seperate shoe compartment. The signature black check nylon canvas on lightweight, shower-resistant polyester assure that moisture, dirt and mud stay where they belong.

Burberry handbags may be actively trying to get away from their signature nova check image, well, sort of. While the preppy nova check pattern is recognizable from miles away, the brand has been striving to bring something new to the table, and attempting to revamp the brand and give the younger, hipper crowd something to swoon over. That is precisely what the Burberry Warrior Bag was supposed to do, but it ended up causing a ruckus with a struggle between love and hate. People either absolutely loved the edgy and funky style or absolutely abhorred it all. To be honest, I loved the bag, but refused to buy it at the price. So I am Warrior-less econluo.blog.com As most of you already know, Spain won the World Cup title in overtime against Netherlands yesterday in front of a crowd of 88,000 in Johannesburg, South Africa. It marks the country’s first World Cup final win in the history of the tournament, and surely the players couldn’t be more proud to take the trophy back to Spain. They won’t be taking just the trophy, however. This year, Louis Vuitton designed a special carrying case (complete with a spot for white gloves, natch) to display the trophy and move it around South Africa. Right, because Louis Vuitton monogram is so discreet. One day, I’d like to win something so cool that it requires its own custom Vuitton case.

Yep, they teach you that in journalism school

I actually took a class on review writing in college. Yep, they teach you that in journalism school. If you’re lucky, anyway – it was pretty hard to get in to. We reviewed all kinds of things, from restaurants to plays, and did lots of exercises to make us better reviewers – things like reviewing oranges and writing TV show reviews the length of a Twitter message. And the one big takeaway I got from that class was this: reviews of things you like are hard to write. Reviews of things that suck? They write themselves. Which is why I feel like I’m cheating by writing about the Gucci Original Backpack. Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. I mean, look at this thing, y’all. It’s been out for a while, I’ve seen it in personal multiple times…and I just don’t think it’s cute. At all. It’s oddly shaped and confusing to look at and I haven’t wanted a backpack as a purse since mini-backpacks were in style when I was approximately nine years old. I had a pleather one, and I wore it to school very excitedly. But that was 1994, and this is 2009, and I feel like we should have progressed since then. Gucci is trying to hold you back – don’t let them! Replica Hermes One of my very first designer purchases was a Burberry scarf. I was a freshman in college and remember being frugal for a month so I could use my typical entertainment money for a Burberry scarf without my dad realizing it. Number one, he realized it and number two, the scarf was totally worth it. The classic check pattern from Burberry is as recognizable as the Louis Vuittton signature monogram. Burberry is are widely counterfeited as well, so you be aware of what you are buying and from where. Continue Reading

Frankly speaking, it is seldom seen so bright palette from Gucci for years. In this spring, its Techno Tag Medium Boston Bag really gives us a big surprise. Just in my first sight of magenta color, I feel warm air and fresh scene in a time of renewal. I even can see a stylish girl toting striking Gucci bag ambling along the tree-shaded path with dazzling sunshine in a quiet afternoon. Picked magenta neoprene GG going harmoniously with magenta leather trim, it keeps original Gucci Boston silhouette accented with nickel hardware offering totally creative effect among its spring/summer 2010 collection which must capture youth vote. Magenta color exudes full femininity and girlish roguishness making a loud statement of vividness and adorability. For traveling using, it provides huge dimension of 13″L×6.7″W×8.4″H to hold even thousands belongings. In addition, three multi-functional pockets featuring Gucci crest lining guarantee convenient catching for small essentials in the roomy capacity. Luxury Handbags I’ve been on the look recently for a very tiny pouch or wristlet to use as a clutch. I want something small enough to fit easily in my hand that will hold only the very essentials – house key, car key, ID, cash, phone. But the phone is where I’m hitting an impasse, because I have an enormous Blackberry with an even more enormous clear plastic shell to keep it safe (gotta brag for a minute – it’s one of the new click-screen ones! I love it!). As such, the thing is approximately the size of a small computer, and even if I can find a wristlet into which it fits, nothing else will fit alongside it. So I’ve decided to get a bit creative in my current search, and this morning came across something that could potentially work very well – the Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Cosmetic Pouch MM. I realize that it’s meant to hold lipsticks and whatnot inside of a larger bag, but since it doesn’t have cosmetic pouch emblazoned on it anywhere, I doubt anyone would know the difference. Besides, I’m all for repurposing things (kinda of like the tv stand holding the microwave in my kitchen. Ahem). At any rate, it looks like it’s just small enough to fit in my hand while being just big enough to contain my giant brick of a phone, and it zips all the way across the top, lest I drop it or hit anyone in the head with it. Perfect! On top of all that, amarante is my favorite color of LV vernis ever and would go really well with all the black I tend to wear. Now if only LV ever went on sale.

Sure, it is natural and there

Last night, as I was getting Baby B ready for bed, I realized that spit up is my nemesis. Sure, it is natural and there are no hard feelings toward the baby, but boy does the spit up stink and boy is it hard to clean up! After 3 onesies in a period of 1 hour, I realized ease of cleaning it the most important aspect when buying baby products. The Prada Nylon line is known for practicality, which makes the Prada Tessuto Baby Bag the perfect baby bag. The nylon can be wiped up with a wet cloth, and this bag has a high usability factor, with a front and side zippered pockets, a changing pad, and a cross body strap. Dimensions are 13″W X 11½”H X 4½”W. Throw in a change of clothes (or two or three), diapers, wipes, cream, and you are on your way. This is one of those great baby bags, that can be thrown around, spilled on, spit up on, and still make it through the storm Gucci Replica Not too long ago, I wrote about a neoprene Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag on PurseBlog Savvy that I absolutely love, and I explained exactly why I think that neoprene is a cool material bags. I still think that’s absolutely true, and I still love the bag, but I just don’t know if I can justify to myself spending $350 for a bag that’s not leather. The Gucci Techno Horsebit Large Tote, also made mostly out of neoprene, has put the price of the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag in stark perspective. And, in it’s own way, it’s made me more likely to spend money it.

It’s always disappointing when the handbags are the least impressive part of any collection, but with a line as inventive and exciting as Prada Spring 2011, I guess something had to get the short shrift. The collection’s shoes (which you can check out over at TalkShoes) were the best of the season thus far, but the handbags left a bit to be desired for luxury lovers. In keeping with the trends we’ve seen in Milan so far, Prada went for bright colors and multihued designs. Most of the stripes came on a canvas background, and I’ll be interested to see if any of those bags are translated to leather for retail. In fact, if the bags had been made of leather from the outset instead of featuring so much canvas, my take on the collection would be lightyears more positive – I just can’t get excited for high-priced cotton, even though I think the aesthetic ideas are strong and interesting. Replica Hermes The PurseBlog team will be taking tomorrow off to spend Thanksgiving with our families, so barring any purse-related breaking news, y’all are on your own Turkey Day. It seems to me, though, that our separate celebrations shouldn’t mean that we can’t share with each other about the things that make us thankful. I’m talking, of course, about handbag things. Most of us probably have to come up with a serious list before we’re rationed our part of the turkey, but since I don’t have any giant roasted poultry to give out, feel free to give me a slightly more fashionable version of that list. For instance, mine starts with Marc Jacobs.

I mean waaay in style

If we are up to date with our fall fashion, like we should be, we all know that shearling is ‘in’. I mean waaay in style. But just because you are a high end designer with a well-known name, it doesn’t mean that each of your bags will be a hit even if they implement the looks of the season. The Gucci Large Shearling Tote simply does not do it for me. Granted I have not yet seen this bag in person, but from the looks of it the bag does not look beige- rather the color you would see when you open up a baby’s diaper. The entire tote is monogrammed with the Gucci GG logo on the beige shearling and is trimmed in beige leather. This tote is also a pretty nice size: 10 3/4″H x 13 3/4″W x 5 3/4″D, but I’d still really rather pass. Luxury Handbags Over the weekend, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, the world’s largest luxury goods conglomerate, announced that it would increase its share in family-owned leather giant Hermes 14.2%, to a total of 17.1% stock ownership. LVMH, which owns such famous labels as Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and Fendi, claims that it will not seek control of Hermes or board representation, but news of the sharp increase in the conglomerate’s ownership of the brand has many wondering if that will remain true for long. Luxury isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s also big business, and Hermes has been among the most profitable properties on the high-end mass market through the recent economic downturn. Part of the Hermes allure for many clients stems from the fact that the Hermes family still runs the company, even in this day of corporate fashion and massive conglomeration. LVMH doesn’t just buy up shares of luxury brands for fun, and although owning a chunk of Hermes stock is certainly a strong bet in today’s luxury market, one can’t help but wonder about LVMH’s larger goals. Although the company’s spokespeople claim that LVMH merely has its sights on being a longterm Hermes stockholder, luxury watchers would be advised to take that with a proverbial grain of salt.

When I saw the Burberry Heart-Studded Satchel for the first time, I had the same internal monologue that I had while flipping through accessories pictures from the brand’s Spring 2011 runway show. It went something like, Really? That’s it? Christopher Bailey can do wonders with every other segment of the brand, but this is all that us handbag folks get? Sadly, yes, this is all we get. Despite some accessory success several seasons ago and a few nice-yet-completely-unmemorable bags popping up every few months, Burberry’s handbag efforts have left much to be desired for some time now. I can only hope that the best is yet to come and that Bailey will throw us a bone of some sort in the near future. In the meantime, what in the world does he want us to do with this? luoecon.blogs-entreprises.com First of all: oops. I goofed. Between having surgery and trying to keep up with the various global Fashion Weeks for a month, I forgot to write about one of the biggest handbag brands in the world, Prada. My bad. So let’s pretend like we’re still in the thick of Milan Fashion Week and discuss went went on at the Prada show, ok? Please, no one tell Miuccia that we’re late. I’m always relatively down on Prada bags, mostly because I think that the brand makes enough money and has enough creative ability to do way better. They make great basics, but beyond that, things tend to go a little off the rails. I’d link you to some of those examples, but you probably already know what I’m talking about all too well. Well, it looks like I’m going to be a lot happier with the brand in six months’ time, and hopefully that means that you all will be too.

On Friday night my parents had a dinner party that Vlad and I attended. Of course all of my moms friends know that I am the ‘bag lady’ and many times they ask me what I think of their handbag. The same handbag-loving-friend of my mom who carried the Michael Kors Watchband Clutch to the last event we saw her at was again carrying a new stunner. As she walked in the house and greeted us, my eyes were drawn to her Prada bag and as I stared at the bag I instantly fell in love. She was carrying the Prada Stripes Multicolor Small Hobo in the turquoise-violet combination which looked divine and really was the perfect size. The small version adds the right amount of color splash and spunk, while not taking away from the overall outfit or look. The leather is supple Nappa, which is smooshy to the touch and perfect to showoff the colors. The top handle and shoulder strap are detachable, but I loved this being carried with the small top handle. Dimensions are 9½”W X 7″H X 3½”D. I first posted about the Prada Trembled Blossoms Bag and found it captivating yet pricey for the small size. Gucci Replica As was widely reported last week, luxury giant LVMH now owns over 17% of competitor Hermes, and although the company has publicly stated that it has no plans to acquire more shares of the French family-owned company in the next six months, luxury watchers remain atwitter over what the future may hold for two of the world’s largest names in handbags after that time period expires. Now that more of the story behind LVMH’s share purchases has emerged, Women’s Wear Daily reports that the company used a number of stealth maneuvers, including cash-settle equity swaps and use of several cannily named LVMH subsidiaries, to increase its stake in Hermes by over 14% without identifying itself as a competitor to Hermes brass. Seemingly adding insult to injury, LVMH notified Hermes of these developments only hours before releasing the information to the general public. So not only did Hermes not knowingly sell the shares to LVMH, but LVMH execs also seemed to be well aware that the family wouldn’t have sold, if given all the pertinent information.

Fringe, fringe, fringe galore! I don’t usually have a problem with fringe, but I can’t decide if this bag has too much of it. Gucci is a brand I love. I have a pair of Gucci sunglasses I wear all the time and I am definitely on the hunt for a Gucci handbag I can tote around all the time as well. But, I don’t think this bag is it. The Gucci Large Babouska Hobo looks unique and perfect for the fall season. I think the stud accents and brass hardware compliment the fringe extremely well. In fact, as I sit here typing, the bag is starting to grow on me more and more. There is a double strap option (one detachable shoulder strap) which provides a nice option. If you’ve read any of my other posts, you know I am a self-proclaimed clutz. Nothing crazy, but I have been know to trip, drop my bag, and have the entire contents spilled out on the sidewalk. So, obviously, I love not only the snap and push-lcok closuer but also the inside zip and cell phone pocket. I am also drawn to how soft the leather looks. Who doesn’t love soft leather? But, I am still stuck on the fringe. What do you think – yay or nay? Top Replica Handbags According to a graphic design professor I had in college, the vast majority of the US population chooses blue as their favorite color, and it’s relatively uncommon to find someone that chooses differently. Before she shared this factoid with us, she went around the room and asked everyone in the twenty-person class what color they liked best. Indeed, 19 people said blue. I was the lone holdout – my favorite color has been red for a long, long time (when I was very little, it was black). And not just any red – more specifically, scarlet. Not quite dark enough to be maroon, but darker and richer than a fire engine. I am endlessly in search of bags (and anything else) that fit this criteria, and in my experience, a good red bag is unfortunately hard to find. Which is why I was so pleased to see the brand new Burberry Leather Satchel. Because of the nature of red pigmentation, in can be really difficult to get a rich color on leather and red bags often lack the pop that I desire. Not so with this purse, though – the red is deep and lovely (patent or glazed red bags usually have better luck getting this effect) and the bag’s design is simple enough to show off the great color

In the meantime, what in the world does he want us to do with this? hie.com/luoecon By now, most of you have probably seen some version of the Marc Jacobs Coated Leather MJ Satchel in person, and if you have, you know exactly what I mean when I say that it doesn’t remind me of any designer back I’ve seen in the last few years, and maybe ever. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I always appreciate innovation. The most striking thing about this bag when you see it in person is how perfectly smooth the leather is; in fact, I didn’t really believe it was leather when I first picked up one of these. But it is, just super slick and without any sign of grain or natural imperfection. Whether or not you’ll like that depends on your personal style, I suppose. Personally, I find this bag and the materials used to make it absolutely fascinating; I merely wish it came in a black and grey version.

The newest trend from high-end designers is posh bicycles. And the best part about all of these bicycles is they are cruisers. Because a $17,000 cruiser makes more sense than a $17,000 road bike, right? First we introduced you to the Hermes Bicycle, a dressed up 3-speed Batavus bike with Hermes stitched leather accents for $3,500. And then there was the ultra pricey Chanel Bicycle, which features two quilted flap bags and a jewelry roll behind the seat, all of which are detachable and can be used as individual shoulder bags for a whopping $17,000 (though the two flap bags and jewelry roll is a nice addition). So now I introduce you to the Gucci Cruiser Bicycle, a bike whose price range fits in between the Hermes and Chanel bikes. This is another cruiser sporting Gucci accents all over. The bronze metal frame does look nice with the chocolate Guccissima leather seat, handlebars, seat pack, and pannier. And the price on this bike, a whopping $6365. I am thinking. This is a bicycle, right? Does Gucci placing some leather on it make it a collectors item? Where would you ride this precious bike to? I totally understand spending money on a racing bike or mountain bike, because there is a seemingly understandable point behind it. But a cruiser. I will tell you what, I am not running out to splurge on this bike. And of all of the designer bicycles, I would opt for the Hermes, because it is the CHEAPEST. bike-fieber.com/luoecon In the South, we’re a little weird about college football. If any of you grew up or went to college south of the Mason-Dixon line, you’re already aware of this phenomenon. Not only do our college teams garner much more ardent support than any of our professional teams, but people devote themselves to their Alma maters with an emotional vigor that is rare to find elsewhere in all of sports. So what’s this got to do with handbags, you say? Well, today is opening day of the 2008 college football season, and although most of the games aren’t until Saturday, a few will be televised tonight and kick off (literally) the happiest 12 weeks of the year for this sports fan. Not only that, but this time of year brings about an odd dressing conundrum for all female football fans that support schools in the South. Because here, you can’t just wear *anything* to a game. We dress up for football like some people dress up for church – and we do it in our team’s colors. Some schools (particularly those where orange figures prominently, bleh) have a harder time of it than others, and I like to think that my school chose wisely. I am an alumni of The University of Georgia, and our colors are red and black.

Louis Vuitton has done it again. They have made a bag that is pricey and highly sought after. Last time I was in Louis Vuitton Bal Harbour I ran into a member of Purse Forum. She was desperately looking for the Mahina, but they were out, as have been many Louis Vuitton boutiques. We reported on the Louis Vuitton Mahina when it was first released (dubbed the Louis Vuitton XL and XXL) and since then there has been Mahina mayhem. But the bags, both in XL and XXL are available in eLuxury right now. The XL costs $3100 while the XXL costs $3900. Told you, expensive, yet understated with the monogram LV and the large slouch. Grab it while you can! bagshandbags.sexbiro.com Prada has been flying below the radar. Nothing exceptionally amazing and nothing on the other end of the spectrum, exceptionally awful (ok I take that back, remember the Visone tote?!). Nevertheless, for the most part we have been un-phased by Prada. While we appreciate all of the additions and imagination that goes into making stand apart bags, sometimes we simply want a great and practical staple. This is precisely what the Prada Soft Calf Hobo brings us, exceptional craftsmanship and supple calfskin leather.

It seems as though I should have waited another week to write about leopard print as a bag trend – since that post was published, several more enormous brands have made their entrance into the fad, most notable among them Gucci. I was surprised to see the Gucci Heritage Pony Hair Boston Bag at first, but once I had a chance to think about it, the print totally makes sense with the retro feel of their most recent collection. As several commenters correctly pointed out on my initial leopard print post, animal prints have been around for ever and waxed and waned in relative trendiness for generations. It only makes sense that when most of fashion is taking a look back to find inspiration from over half a century ago that leopard print would experience a resurgence in popularity. Cheap Belts I just realized that I actually do not own a Burberry handbag. Gasp! I own some scarves, a coat, and some other little accessories but no bag. Whether or not it makes sense, I would love to own at least one bag from all of the big designers. I just chuckled out loud thinking what my father or any other rational person would say to this. Oh well. If I were going for a Burberry bag, I think I found a very cute one that is a bit different from the rest. The Burberry Plaid Canvas Tote reminds me of spring and picnics. I can just see myself wearing this more vibrant plaid print with its bright leather trim to the park or out in the country with Vlad. Ahh the thoughts of warm weather and butterflies makes me happy. This tote has double top handles, two outside pockets with drawstrings, two inside compartments with dividers along with zip pockets, and measures 12″H X 16″L X 8″W. I can see not everyone liking the crayon colored plaid pattern

The lacy Prada Pizzo S Satchel was looked at and disguarded by many. But me? I actually was drawn to the handbag. Why exactly, I do not know. Sure it is ornate, over-done, but somehow, it is this beautiful piece of lace on a handbag that captivates me. My simple style sees this as a dress-up accessory. And in South Florida, where jeans and heels make the perfect evening wear, this Prada bag is the perfect pick-me-up. But of course there were those of you that were not impressed with the lace, and in fact wanted to take scissors to the lace and trim it up. Was it just the shape of the ‘extra’ material that irked you? Or would you like the bag with leather? Maybe Prada thought they could meet your fancy too, with the Prada Nappa S Satchel, which nixes the lace and brings in luscious Nappa leather. This bag’s ruching detail on the side will still either be loved or hated. There are top handles and a zip closure. While it is available in black, the metallic oak is much more impressive to me. hie.com/luoecon Folks, we’ve done it. I think. Maybe I’m being optimistic. But, with the advent of the Louis Vuitton Card Deck Set, I think it may be possible for someone with enough money and enough dedication to go through their entire day without deigning to use a product that’s not luxury branded. We’ve covered Chanel and Hermes bicycles, Gucci makes wallpaper, Fendi makes bedding, Versace makes furniture. And now, your husband won’t just be playing poker with the guys, he’ll be playing Louis Vuitton poker. And that won’t get him made fun of by his buddies AT ALL, I promise. Eluxury promises that this set includes three “luxurious” decks of cards, so please, help me brainstorm in the comments – exactly how does one make playing cards luxurious? The first thing that came to my mind was having the symbols ever so carefully covered in close-cropped mink, making them slightly furry. How would you do it?

The PurseBlog team wants to wish all of you a Happy Easter and Passover! We decided to spring into the holiday with some bunny accessories, because they are the perfect addition to your Spring wardrobe. On the Savvy side, I found the Coach Mink Bunny Key Fob which I plan to put on my key ring for spring. Although it is white leather and fur and may get dirty easier, I love having something light and fluffy to hang my keys on and this Coach key fob is so cute. Price is $38 via Coach (style number is #92869). If you are looking for a bag charm, Hermes is known to entice with their circular leather animal charms like the bunny I have. Vlad got me this for Christmas and it is such a fun way to give my bag a little extra character. Seeing a smiling bunny face dangle from my bag really adds a nice touch. Buy via Hermes. econluo.blog.com Hey, are you looking for something new to begin a brand new year? You do not have to spend thousands of money on a designer handbag or a ready-to-wear. One has to be economic with the economy glooming. But I guess a chic Gucci Scarf will be ok with your planned budget. You might like this Gucci Tartan Pattern Carre featuring fringe. After all, the Gucci Carre is not that pricy. It is chic and it is available at a price of $350.00. This Tartan pattern carre exists in two colors, one is a combination of midnight blue, sky blue and red and the other mixes taupe and dark brown together. Personally I like the blue and red very much. It is really cheering. The stole is a combination of 70% cashmere and 30% silk. Such a stole would be of course comfortable and warm and supple for wearing. The Carre measures 47.2 inches long and 47.2 inches wide. It can be folded to be worn in many styles. Choose one for you. The tartan pattern is timeless for wearing.

No one knows exactly how long the mini crossbody trend will last, but put me on the record as hoping that this shape stays around as a wardrobe staple for years to come. Not only are minibags delightfully functional, but they’re easily modified to embody nearly any style from hippie to industrial. In this case, the mood of the Gucci 1973 Small Shoulder Bag is clear – it’s all about the retro throwback. This bag comes as no surprise to anyone that saw the looks from Gucci’s Fall 2010 runway show – I would have pegged the look as more late 60s than early 70s, but the retro shapes and color palette were omnipresent throughout the bags featured in the show. The altered Gucci logo is the touch that really completes the look. bike-fieber.com/luoecon To fully judge the bags from Prada Fall 2011, I strongly urge you to look at the collection as a whole. If you like Prada’s quirky retro-futurisim, you will love the 60s mod quasi-innocence of what Miuccia put together, and in the context of fall’s Prada girl, the bags make perfect sense. The highly textured collection lends itself to simple, single-material bags; after all, if your ensemble already has fur, paillettes and a pair of glitter and python boots, you probably don’t need a handbag that competes for attention. That being said, I wonder how the bags will sell when removed from the spectacular clothing that provided them with a backdrop for them during the runway show. They’re simple and luxurious, but they lose some of the magic of the mod look when considered on their own. Still, Prada’s overall output for fall is easily my favorite of the season thus far, so I wouldn’t worry too much for the company’s coffers.

I have never been much of a fan of Prada. Not for any particular reason; they’re just not my thing, but I can understand why others are so passionate about them. The leather is usually supple and beautiful and I’ve heard wonderful things about their quality and construction. Nice leather, classic shapes, and durability – you can’t ask for a whole lot more than that, even if they don’t exactly tickle my fancy. Which is why I can very much respect that a lot of people will love the Prada Cervo Shine Hobo, even though it’s not absolutely wowing me. It has a ton of factors working in its favor – buttery soft deerskin leather, accessible outside pockets, and a functional and wearable shape that would be great for work or play. I think what’s stopping me from being more enthusiastic is the color. I’m not much for tan, and if they gave me this in a grape-y purple or a slate grey, I’d probably be turning cartwheels right now. But for those of you out there that love tan, I may have found your new favorite everyday bag. Louis Vuitton Handbags We reported earlier on the collaboration with James Jean in the Prada Spring Handbag line, which has received quite a bit of buzz. Our favorite thus far has been the whimsical Prada Fairy Bag, which we have previously covered. The bag that many of us have been buzzing about is the Prada Fairies Bag which features a plum art print on this deerskin handbag. There are top handles and dimensions are 10 1/5″H x 14 1/5″W x 6″D. What you will not believe is that just two days ago Neiman Marcus put this bag up for pre-order, and today it is no longer available. I clicked on it and POOF!, they were all taken. Make sure to keep checking back as Neiman Marcus is known to restock
